Welcome to More se Slimkoppe (MSSK). By using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read these terms carefully before enrolling your child or using any of our services. These Terms of Service are governed by South African law.
1. Services Provided
MSSK provides educational and childcare services, including pre-school, daycare, aftercare, and related activities. We are committed to offering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
2. Enrollment and Registration
- Enrollment is subject to availability, and registration must be completed through our official process.
- Parents/guardians must submit all required documents, including identification, medical records, and proof of payment, before enrollment can be finalized.
- A non-refundable registration fee is required upon submission of the admission form.
- MSSK reserves the right to refuse enrollment if the required documentation is not provided or if fees are not paid in full.
3. Fees and Payment
- All fees, including monthly daycare fees, aftercare fees, and any additional charges, must be paid in advance by the 1st of each month.
- Payments must be made via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). No cash or cheque payments will be processed.
- If fees are not paid by the due date, MSSK reserves the right to deny entry to the child/children until outstanding fees are settled.
- A penalty of 10% will be applied to overdue fees, and interest will accrue on unpaid amounts at the rate prescribed by South African law.
- No refunds will be issued for partial attendance, early withdrawal, or for any unused services.
4. Cancellation and Termination
- A one calendar month written notice is required for the cancellation of services.
- The notice period will remain payable, regardless of attendance during that month.
- MSSK reserves the right to terminate services immediately if the terms of this agreement are violated, including non-payment, failure to provide required documentation, or disruptive behavior.
- If services are terminated due to non-compliance or misconduct, no refunds will be issued.
5. Code of Conduct
- All children are expected to adhere to the school’s code of conduct, which promotes respect, responsibility, and positive behavior.
- Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring their child follows the school’s rules and regulations.
- MSSK reserves the right to take disciplinary action, including suspension or expulsion, for serious breaches of conduct, including violence, bullying, or non-compliance with school policies.
- Parents/guardians may be required to attend a meeting if their child’s behavior is deemed inappropriate or disruptive.
6. Health and Safety
- Parents/guardians must inform MSSK of any medical conditions, allergies, or special needs their child may have. Failure to disclose such information may result in the termination of services.
- MSSK takes all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of all children in our care. However, MSSK is not responsible for accidents or injuries that may occur during activities, except where negligence on our part is proven.
- In the event of a medical emergency, MSSK will take appropriate action, including seeking medical attention, and parents/guardians will be notified immediately. Parents/guardians will be responsible for any medical costs incurred.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
- MSSK is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and other applicable South African privacy laws.
- We will not disclose personal information without your consent, except where required by law or to service providers assisting with educational, administrative, or other operational needs.
- By enrolling your child, you consent to the collection and use of personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Liability
- MSSK will not be held liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from the use of our services, except where required by South African law.
- Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring that their child’s personal items, including toys, clothing, and other belongings, are clearly labeled and properly cared for.
- MSSK will not be liable for any lost or stolen personal items.
9. Changes to Terms of Service
- MSSK reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be communicated to parents/guardians, and the revised terms will be posted on our website.
- Continued use of our services after any changes to the Terms of Service will be deemed acceptance of those changes.
10. Governing Law
- These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising from the use of our services will be resolved in accordance with South African law.
- Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
